The YWCA in Penn Quarter Has Summer Programs for Kids
YWCA Summer Camp in Downtown Washington DC Has a Number of Activities
The YWCA Gallery Place Fitness and Aquatics Center located in Penn Quarter has Summer programs starting in June and continuing into August. The Children’s Summer Camp is only during the weekday. There is a one week session from June 25 to the 29th and a two week session from July 2 to August 24th. The hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and is for children 5-12 year olds. Early drop off is at 7 a.m. and late pick up is at 6 p.m. The YWCA has lots of other daily activities unrelated to the summer camp. There is Pool, Arts & Crafts, Reading Time, Museum Trips, Fitness Activities; Martial Arts, Yoga, Team Sports, Fitness Classes, Obstacle Courses, Group Games, Computer Skills Training, Team Building Exercises, Trips to the National Mall for games/outdoor activities, Trips to sports arenas, Homework tutoring.
