Thursday, May 3, noon – 1:00pm. Bill Gertz debriefing and Book Signing. "Enemies: How America’s Foes Steal Our Vital Secrets – And How We Let It Happen.In his book Enemies: How America’s Foes Steal our Vital Secrets—And How We Let It Happen, Bill Gertz, defense and national security reporter for The Washington Times, highlights the increasing threats to the United States’ military and industrial security. 



Thursday, May 10, 7:00pm. Spies on Screen, Seven Days in May. When unpopular President Jordan Lyman manages to get a nuclear disarmament agreement through the Senate, Cold War tensions are unleashed and intrigue shakes the nation.  The military fears a sneak attack by the Soviets, and General Scott, head of the Joint Chiefs and a man with his own presidential aspirations, decides to take matters into the hands of the military.  John Frankenheimer’s direction of Burt Lancaster, Kirk Douglas, and Ava Gardner dramatically captures a country on the brink of a coup d’etat.  Four Star General Frederick Kroesen, former commander of the U.S Army in Europe and commander of the NATO Central Army Group, will discuss the film’s accuracy following the screening. Sunday, May 13, 10:30am – 11:30am and 12:30 – 1:30pm. KidSpy Performance, Spy Magic. Here’s a chance for KidSpy recruits to use basic electronics and creative thinking to whip up some items for their own tradecraft toolkit.  A portable lie detector, security alarm, and signaling device are all gadgets they will make to take on future missions.  Recruits will also explore and try out the latest in surveillance and concealment gadgets on top secret training missions.  Ages 10-14; No Grown-Ups Allowed.
