Penn Quarter Museum Has an Amazing Showcase in a Historic Washington DC Building

Penn Quarter/China Town really has it all: restaurants, movies, clubs, bars, retail galore and now smack dab in the middle is a beautiful building filled with unique exhibits, fabulous pictures and portraits of Americans who’ve helped build our culture. There is everything from art depicting the American experience, folk art, the Civil War, America now, American origins, our past and current Presidents, Western art and on display now is "An Impressionist Sensibility". The museum is free the National Portrait Gallery is located at 8th and F Street and sits right on top of Gallery Place-Chinatown metro.
